JOB DESCRIPTION:

Trainer – Job Description

Key tasks & roles and responsibilities :

Essential

• Dual language speaker (Arabic / English)
• Internationally recognized training qualification e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training (PTTLS)
• Internationally recognized discipline specific qualification e.g. Level 3 Apprenticeship
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations related role in the oil and gas / chemical industry with a minimum 5 years’ experience as discipline specific trainer including classroom and on the job training
• Working in multi-cultural team environment, with previous experience in the middle east and remote locations highly preferable

Desirable

• Recognized Assessor qualification e.g. A1, D32, Level 3 Award in Assessment
• Recognized Verifier qualification e.g. V1, D34, Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
• recognized Assessor Qualification – OPITO Certified Assessor Qualification

Skill Set

• Plan, prepare and execute training, including the identify the required resources
• Proven experience working in an H2S and Oil & Gas environment
• Effect communication skills to all levels – written and verbal
• Ability to use diagnostic assessments to identify ongoing / additional training needs
• Proficient in all MS office software package
• Ability to prepare and update training material
• Self-starter with energy to work independently to deadlines and with good organizational skills
